Cindy Ellen Heinrich-Bruns

Cindy Ellen Bruns (Heinrich), who many admired as an inspiring teacher and caring friend, passed away Nov. 25 at the age of 66. Beloved wife of Ronald. Loving mother of Stephen (Jill), Kristen and Amy Bruns. Cherished grandmother of Jenavieve Bruns and Jack and Luke Solum. Dearest sister of Donna (Judd) Tounshendeaux, Laurel (Dennis) Brattin and Karl (Donna) Heinrich Jr. Dear niece of Martha. Cindy graduated from Illinois State University and received her Master’s Degree from Aurora University. A lifelong Addison resident, she worked as an educator for more than three decades in multiple school districts, including Addison Districts 4 and 88, as well as Naperville 204 and Steger 194. Her caring style and love for students transcended generations of children, shaping thousands of lives in the hundreds of classrooms she served.
