Laurie Conforti Zimmerman, 56 of Addison. Beloved wife of Travis. Loving mother of Brian (Lauren) Conforti and Brandon (Alycia) Conforti. Cherished grandmother of Logan, Addison and Isabella Conforti. Loving daughter of Robert and Dolores Conforti. Dearest sister of Lisa (Bob) Christman, Bobby (Elizabeth) Conforti and Al Conforti. Dear sister-in-law of Bart (Nicole) Zimmerman. Fond niece of Rosemary (the late John), Joseph (LeeAnn), Lorraine and Sylvia (the late Mike). Loving aunt of Bobby (Ellen), Matthew (Julia), Alicia (Casey), Nicholas, Sam, Dezirae, Slater (Tawni), Hunter and Breanna. Preceded in death by her grandparents Joseph, Louise, Mary and Alfred. Laurie is also survived by many cherished cousins, fond friends and loved ones.

Laurie dedicated 30 years of her life to the Villa Park Police Department, finding genuine joy in her work. She often referred to her colleagues as her second family, always making a heartfelt effort to ensure everyone she encountered felt valued and appreciated.

Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, August 11 from 1-7 PM at Humes Funeral Home, 320 W. Lake St., Addison (2 Mi. W. of Rt. 83, 2 Mi. E. of Rt. 53). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cervical Cancer Foundation in her name are greatly appreciated.
