Marlene Fehring, née Simpson, of Addison, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025. Dear wife of the late Frank. Cherished daughter of the late James and Rita Simpson. Loving mother of Anne (Randy) Peterson, Jean Fehring, Jim Fehring, Bridget Fehring and Beth (Luis) Hernandez. Dearest grandmother of Mary, Kate, Luke, Erin, and Max. Loving sister of James (Katherine) Simpson, Liz (George) Ebbole and Judy (Michael) Kenny. Dear sister-in-law of Delores (the late Carl) Fehring, the late Edward (the late Bernice) Fehring, the late James (the late Lottie) Fehring, the late Laverne (the late Robert) Hall, and the late Rev. Fabian Fehring, OFM Cap. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 4-8 PM at Humes Funeral Home, 320 W. Lake St., Addison (2 Mi. W. of Rt. 83, 2 Mi. E. of Rt. 53).  Meet at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 330 E. Fullerton Ave., Addison, Friday March 21, 2025 for Mass at 10 AM. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.

If desired, memorials to St. Jude Children’s Hospital are greatly appreciated.
