Patricia “Pat” Kossman of Addison, Illinois died peacefully at her home on Friday, September 24, 2021.
She enjoyed life and loved people. Her warm, generous, loving and accepting nature was an inspiration to all who knew her; she remained positive, graceful and kind up to the very end.
Beloved wife of Arthur for 60 plus years. Loving mother of Stacey (Dale) Starkes, Scott (Leigh) Kossman, and Janice Corbiel. Cherished Grandmother of Jeremy (Jen) Corbiel; Josie, Annie, and Lillie Kossman; and the late Steven Starkes. Great Grandmother of Joslynn Corbiel and Jayce Manzanares. Dear sister of Robert Johnson, the late Herbert Johnson, Mary Lou Corbett and the late Bruce Johnson. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Pat was the daughter of Oscar F. Johnson and Dolores Z. Johnson. She was born in Chicago on February 5, 1940 and was raised in Plainfield, Illinois, lived in the Andersonville neighborhood of Chicago, and lived the last fifty years Addison.
Pat worked outside the home for many years at the former Louie’s restaurant in Addison; she also worked as a hairstylist. Pat was an avid reader and she enjoyed woodworking, cooking, and spending time with her husband, friends, children and grandchildren.Her funeral will be this Thursday, September 30 at the Humes Funeral Home, 320 West Lake St., Addison, Illinois. Visitation from 11:00am until time of funeral service at 2:30 PM.
