Robert "Bobby" Meredith, 67 of Richmond, IL, passed away unexpectedly on March 10, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife Anita. He is the cherished son of Rita and the late John Meredith and survived by his dear siblings Jim, Mary Jo Lannon, Tom and John and their families.
Bobby proudly devoted his life to his business. Not only did he help to support hundreds of families over the years, but he made many cherished friends along the way. It will be his continued legacy and carried on in his honor. In recent times, Bobby's latest passion became fishing. For anyone that knew him, Bobby cherished his loved ones and cared for his friends immensely, and in accordance with his wishes, let's celebrate his life with laughter and maybe a toast.
Bobby brought so much love into the world, and his loss is felt greatly. He did not wish to have any formal services but rather wished to know that there was a smile on your face as you raised a glass and enjoyed some fond memories.
If desired, memorial donations in Bobby's memory can be made to an animal rescue that he was passionate about:
Valley of Kings Sanctuary and Retreat is dedicated to the rescue and refuge of abused, abandoned, injured and retired exotic animals.
