Pastor James Zimmerman

Pastor James “Jim” Zimmerman, 63 of Addison. Passed away 10/08/2022, suddenly of natural causes.  Beloved husband of Robin nee Winter.  Loving father of Theodore. Dearest brother of Linda. Loving son-in-law of Larry and Eleanor Winter. Dearest brother-in-law of Lea (Dave) Papritz. Also survived by nieces and nephews Amy, Brooke, Summer, Joshua, Abby and Hayley. Visitation Thursday, October 13 from 7-8:30 PM at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, 37 Army Trail Rd., Addison. Funeral Service Friday, October 14 at 10:30 AM at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church. Interment St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Officiating Rev. Kevin Peterson, Rev. Allan Buss. Rev. Martin Balzer and Rev. Michael Brown.

Jim graduated from Christ College in California and Concordia Lutheran Seminary, St. Louis, MO.  Ordained in 1987, Jim has been a minister for 35 years.
