John Humes Jr. is the owner of Humes Funeral Home. Mr. Humes has been a licensed Funeral Director for over 50 years, and the owner of Humes Funeral Home for over 30 years. Mr. Humes has been a dedicated member of the community and active in many local organizations throughout his career. He is a proud member of St. Philip the Apostle Parish. In his downtime, he enjoys gardening and spending time with his 6 cherished grandchildren.
John W. "Chip" Humes, III was a proud director at Humes Funeral Home for over 12 years. A graduate of Driscoll Catholic High School, John and his family are active parishioners at St. Philip the Apostle Parish. John is a Past President of the Addison Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a member of the Addison Historical Commission and a fourth degree Knight of Columbus, in addition to being involved with numerous other community organizations. John is a Past President of the Illinois Funeral Directors Association, and current legislative director. He continues to proudly serve the local community and has been an active Associate member of the Addison Township Republican Organization. In his downtime, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his 3 amazing children.
Liz has been with the Humes family for 16 years and is truly committed to helping each family that walks through the door, from helping families pre-plan, to guiding them through every step of the funeral arranging process, to providing personalized and special touches to celebrate each life lived.
Liz is a devoted mother to her sunshine, Evan. She is an avid traveler, photographer, music enthusiast and animal lover.
Joan has been an integral part of the Humes Funeral Home family since 2018, guiding and helping families during visitations and services as well as assisting in the office and funeral arranging process. Originally from Iowa, by way of Minneapolis, she now calls Addison home. Joan enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking walks and working in her yard and garden.
Raffy has been a cherished part of the Humes family for over 20 years. Raffy and her husband Deacon Dino Franch have lovingly served our community for most of their lives and are members of Holy Ghost Parish. You can usually find Raffy and Dino spending well-deserved time traveling with their friends.
